With the failure of several banks around the United States the past couple weeks, many people are concerned about their money and how safe it is. Is your money safe in our area? Ottawa City Commissioner, Mike Skidmore, who is associated with Goeppert State Bank says there is no reason to panic:
If you have more than $250,000 in your account, you might consult your banker to see if moving some money into other types of accounts is advisable.
