There were a few surprises in the regular report to the Franklin County Commission by the Emergency Medical Services Department. EMS Director, Christi Hilliker gave some information about the fourth quarter of 2022.
Hilliker says it seems some patients seem to be sicker than they used to be, and attributed part of that to an aging population. Calls to the Wellsville area continue to increase as the city grows and more people visit the community, particularly on the eastern side of town where development is occurring and people utilize the truck stops and convenience stores in that area.
