Remember the Splash pad the City of Ottawa was going to build in City Park and have ready by the time summer rolled around? What ever happened to those plans. Utilities Director, Dennis Tharp has the answer:
October of last year, the City Commission, after much debate, made the decision to build a splash pad using a pass through system that would not require as much sanitation. Tharp says the city would move as quickly as possible, once the request for quotes are returned.
