A project aimed at improving student housing capacity at Ottawa University may be in its early stages, but the idea seems to be greeted with a lot of support. A developer is requesting a re-zone of property at 901 South Cherry so two buildings can be erected that will have a maximum of 30 units each building. Ottawa Planner, Jenna Hillyer, described the project:
The project has been slightly delayed due to an error in the legal description of the property…….the Ottawa Planning Dommission is expected to hold a public hearing on the project at its April 12th meeting.
