When Ottawa University Campus President, Dr. Reggies Wenyika announced on KOFO last fall that the college was in need of a housing solution for their ever increasing enrollment, several people responded with some short term and long term solutions. Wenyika knows they need a more permanent solution:
One developer has asked that the city rezone the property at 9th and Cherry. He plans to build two buildings with 30 units in each building and plans to offer at least one of the buildings to OU for housing.
