The West Franklin School District has discussed the possibility of adding a day facility in their district. The need is great to retain employees with young children. USD 287 has released an ad looking for interest from any interested party to operate a day care business of their own, on school grounds. The ad states that USD 287 is considering offering the day care and would provide the room, utilities, insurance and upkeep, with the day care owner providing things like employees, play equipment, food and related supplies and equipment, and other things.
The flyer states they realize for the daycare to be profitable to the owner, that children not associated with district employes would also be allowed. The day care would be located on the Pomona Campus at West Franklin Middle and High School grounds.
