The Garnett Farmer’s Market will make it’s 2023 debut with some old faces and some new. The every-Thursday, 4:30 to 7:30 event runs through October 5th, along the east side of the Garnett Square near the Prairie Spirit Trail. Garnett Community Development Directory Kris Hix said organizers are excited to bring back a huge variety of vendors with an even bigger variety of products. Hix says the market has grown but they are looking for even more to add new and unusual things, such as fresh herbs, as well as local honey, local berries and fruits. Hix says they are proud of the market, and the integrity of the vendors, and will continue to provide high quality, locally grown and handmade products for customers. Hix says the vendors work hard all year to make the market one the community wants to come to and support the local farmers and growers.
