During the pandemic, the court systems rally got backed and there were times where the courts decided to extend warrants indefinitely. But, time eventually catches up and now the Franklin County Court System is giving those people with outstanding warrants an opportunity…a Warrant Amnesty Day. Sheriff Jeff Richards:
Richards says those with warrants should have received a letter informing them of Amnesty Day. He says those people need to follow the direction on the letter for court assignments or to set up a zoom meeting. The court dates will be on May 5th and 6th.
