The suspect in the first homicide in Ottawa in over 10 years will be in court tomorrow for a Preliminary Hearing in the case. Thirty year old Anthony Alvarado arrested in June of last year for the stabbing death of his roommate at their residence at 11th and Ash. Nearly three dozen subpoenas’ were issued for the hearing. A Preliminary Hearing is to present evidence and determine if there is a bases for a trail. Franklin County Attorney, Brandon Jones, says the case is complex, to say the least.
Alvarado is charged with second degree murder. The Preliminary Hearing for the case will be tomorrow morning, May 4th, at 9:00 in Franklin County District Court.
