As the air warms and Spring gradually turns to Summer, it means one thing! Farmer’s Markets are starting up again. Today, May 3rd, is the opening day for the Ottawa Farmers’ Market. Market Manager, Mary Rayley, says the season will officially begin at 4:00 this afternoon, in the Orscheln parking lot.

Other items include dried fruits and jellies, bedding plants, fresh flowers, locally produced honey, popcorn and nuts, apple cider donuts and cider and much more. The Market will open Wednesdays, starting today at 4:00 and Saturday mornings at 8:00 in the Orscheln parking lot.
