The final Legislative Coffee of the year will be held this morning, May 6th, at City Hall. It is a chance for area legislators to wrap up what the Kansas Legislature was able to accomplish during this year’s session. Expect talk about Governor Kelly’s record number of Vetoes and the lawmakers efforts to override those Vetoes, some successfully, some not.
The Coffee will be held at the City Hall Commission Chambers, starting at 10:00 this morning, May 6th. Can’t make it? No worries! The Coffee will be live streamed on the City of Ottawa’s Facebook page and will be available for viewing afterwards also. Come on down and hear what our area Legislators, Senator Caryn Tyson and Representative Rebecca Schmoe, have to say about the work done this year by the legislature.
