Eric Jenkins, who has officially served as Paola’s Police Chief since November 2021, but filled the position in an interim role before that, will be stepping down, effective Sunday, May 5th. Jenkins says serving in this role no longer aligns with his personal and family goals. This decision is being made so he could achieve a healthier work/life balance. Jenkins said he will remain with the police department, serving in his previous role as Captain.

Captain Chad Corbin has been appointed as Interim Chief of Police by City Manager, Randi Shannon. Corbin served in the U. S. Marine Corps from 1990 to 1994 as a Military Policeman.
