An Ottawa woman is pushing hard to establish a Baby Safety Haven Box at one of Ottawa’s fire stations. Angie Malik appeared before the Ottawa City Commission to explain her ideas.
Little five year old Matilda Malik passed away over a year ago….Angie Malik says a change in state law enabled the Baby Haven Box Project to move forward. Fire Chief Tim Matthias says he’s in full support of the idea.
