One issue that has been debated in recent weeks concerning wind turbines is a moratorium, and how long a moratorium on wind turbines can last. At the last Franklin County Planning Commission Meeting, Commission member, Kenzie Singleton…who is a local divorce attorney… stated that a moratorium can only last six months, and that she could not support one lasting several years. At the latest Franklin County Commission Meeting, Judy Hancock, who is an attorney specializing in international contracts, addressed the matter:
