The Ottawa City Commission will hold its weekly Study Session this afternoon. One item on the Agenda is the commission on accreditation for law enforcement agencies, known as CALEA. Ottawa City Manager Brian Silcott, says that puts Ottawa in elite status:
Other items on the Agenda include reviewing bids for financing the new fire truck, a look at moderate income housing applications and a discussion of allowing chickens within the city limits.
The study will start at 4:00 at City Hall. It is open to the public and will be livestreamed on the City of Ottawa’s Facebook page.
