Monday, May 22nd, the Kansas Department of Transportation started a surfacing project on U. S. 169 in Anderson County. The 13-mile project begins at the roundabout south of Garnett and continues northeast to the Anderson-Franklin County line. Flaggers and a pilot car are directing one-lane traffic through the work zone during daylight hours; expect delays of 15 minutes or less.
Another project. The Kansas Department of Transportation started a mill and overlay project on Kansas Highway 152 yesterday. The 13 mile project begins at the junction of K-7 and continues east to U. S. 69. Flaggers and a pilot car will guide one lane traffic through the work zone during daylight hours. Drivers should expect delays of 15 minutes or less .
