The Ottawa City Commission held a special meeting this morning to discuss and review Moderate Income Housing Grant Applications. Finance Director, Melanie Landis says the application didn’t quite meet the guidelines for income limits, but, the applicants have restructured the plan. She describes the project called Legacy Lofts:
Commissioners called for the special meeting to make sure all the details are known and application and supporting documentation is accurate. The deadline for submitting the application is June second. This is the second round of Grant funding for moderate income housing the State of Kansas has offered.
