Memorial Day Services were held this morning at the Franklin County Veterans Memorial in Downtown Ottawa. Just over 100 people attended the ceremonies. Speaker and local Army Veteran, Aaron Bien, told the crowd that everything we have comes from the sacrifices of others:
He added to remember to tell the younger generation what this day is about and to always remember, the freedoms we have today have come at a price.
