A police pursuit by Wellsville Police has two suspects in jail. Wellsville Police Chief Danny Hackler told the City Council about the incident:
Hackler says there was a rumor that officers had shot one of the suspects, but the rumor is untrue.
In other business, the Council approved a Dispatch Contract with the County, which opens the way to expanding the Wellsville ambulance station to two ambulance bays, should that eventually be required. Right now one ambulance is stationed in Wellsville.
