More confirmation that the winter wheat crop really suffered this year due to the drought. Dave Green of the Wheat Quality Council, spoke about the tour of winter wheat fields in Kansas and its reflection of crop condition in several central and southern plains states
The crop this year could be down as much as 67% in some states. Kansas faired a little better with estimates having the crop down anywhere from 25 to 33%
