If you signed up for dust control with Franklin County and are wondering what is taking so long……well the county is wondering too. Public Works Director, David Lee, says the program might actually get underway next week:
Lee also announced that the State of Kansas will contribute about a million and a half dollars toward reconstructing the first phase of Old 50 Highway, the County will chip in another million and a half for a total cost of about $3 million for the first part of the Old 50 Renovation Program.
