Now that an agreement has been finalized between Franklin County and the city of Wellsville for an upgraded and expanded ambulance station, the expectations of emergency medical personnel may finally be realized. EMS Chief, Christi Hilliker, told the County Commission that it should help in ambulance response time:
The county will contribute around a half million dollars toward the new station. The money comes from Federal ARPA Funds that is one of many Federal COVID Relief Programs.
