As the weather warms up, so do the hot little hands of thieves in Ottawa. There are some very easy things you can do to avoid becoming the victim of the most common type of crime, property crimes or crimes of opportunity. Ottawa Police Chief Adam Weingartner explains… the 9 p.m. routine:
The Chief says almost every car stolen or broken into in Ottawa last year and nearly every building broken into, was unlocked and the cars stolen had the keys in them. Even if you have never had any issues, lock up, be safe.
