The formal arraignment for Anthony Alvarado, the man accused of murdering his roommate during a fight in June of last year, was held Monday, June 12th. At the hearing, there were some tense moments. The hearing was moved to the Law Library, a smaller room as the regular courtrooms were taken. Franklin County Attorney Brandon Jones says things almost got out of hand:
Alvarado is charged with second degree murder, accused of killing Dalton Presley at the residence at 11th and Ash. The arraignment was continued until August 14th.
