A reception honoring former Ottawa City Manager, Richard Nienstedt, as a Hometown Hero was held at the soon-to-be new location of Daylight Donuts. Nienstedt says when it came to deciding where to live in retirement, it wasn’t difficult:
The reception was sponsored by Modern Woodmen Agency. At the request of Nienstedt, the agency will donate $100 to ECKAN with an emphasis on fighting homelessness.
