School is out for the Summer; but beginning next year, there will be a different grading system at Ottawa High School. Probably the biggest change is no more grades every nine weeks. School Superintendent, Dr.Ryan Cobbs, says having only a semester long grade, should make things more equitable:
At first, the School Board was scheduled to wait until its June meeting to vote on the change, but board members were so anxious to see the change, they went ahead and approved the change at its May meeting
