The city of Ottawa has about a clean an audit as it gets. That probably sums up the results of the audit for 2022. During the regular Ottawa City Commission Meeting, Auditor Sean Gordon CPA summarized his report:
Gordon says he had no recommendations to give since the current audit is so clean. City Manager, Brian Silcott, says the clean audit is a testament to the hard work and dedication by the Finance Department. City Commissioners will continue to work on the budget for the upcoming year and hope to have it ready for presentation in a few weeks as they hash out allotments to community partners and various departments within the city.
