A Kansas artist who specializes in creating artwork from earthwork, recently completed the likeness of Abolitionist John Brown, in John Brown Park in Osawatomie. Stan Herd is also well known for his crop art. Herd says Brown was a complex character:
Herd is currently creating the likeness of Kansas Senator Bob Dole at the Dole Institute for Politics at the University of Kansas in Lawrence.
