National Heatstroke Prevention Day was May 31st, but with dangerous heat building in this week, it’s important to remember that already this year  9 children have died from heatstroke inside vehicles, putting the U. S. on track to be one of the deadliest years for child hot car deaths, most “forgotten” as parents rush into work.

Amber Rollins, from KIDSANDCARS.ORG says that a rear facing car seat looks the same to the driver whether a baby is in it or not and we need a reminder…

An item like a key card to get into work or a cell phone or a purse are all good things to put next to the car seat every time just so you have to go back and check when you leave the car.
