Here is the question of the day. Do you keep your ketchup in the refrigerator or on the counter? This is a question of real debate. Many restaurants keep ketchup out on the tables without refrigeration. People actually argue about this at home…it’d happened in my house, but, I gave in and it’s in the fridge. The Heinz company, hearing these arguments, has answered the age old question…kind of. They say that because of its natural acidity, ketchup is shelf stable and can be left out. But….they say refrigerate it after opening, it will maintain the products quality longer. Well, that solved nothing. Thanks Heinz.
