Barring any unforeseen problems, it looks like the path is clear for Ottawa University to lease the Days Inn Hotel for student housing. During the Ottawa Planning Commission regular meeting, Commission Chair, Cal Lantis, had a question for City Planner, Jenna Hillyer about giving notice of the project:
The Planning Commission recommended the project for approval. The City Commission has the final say, but no problems are expected in getting their approval as well.
