A two-year-old girl is dead after drowning at the Eisenhower State Park swim beach at Melvern Lake Thursday night,July 13th. The call came into the Osage County Sheriff’s Office just before 9:00. Life-saving measures were started at the time of the call and continued until the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parksarks are jointly investigating the incident.
