A fun event coming up in August for kids of all ages. The Touch a Truck event, hosted by Parkwood Day School, will be held at 203 South Oak in Garnett. It will bring an opportunity to not only let the kids and adults see, touch and climb on big trucks like fire trucks, but also give the public a chance to tour the facility, enjoy some treats and participate in many other fun activities. The Touch a Truck event is being held in correlation with Parkwood’s open house. They have openings for kids age 6 weeks thru 12 years old the Touch a Truck event will be held Saturday, August 5th from 10:00 to 2:00.
