A proposed housing project near 19th and South Princeton has cleared a major hurdle with the approval of the Final Plat by the Ottawa City Commission. Ottawa Finance Director, Melanie Landis, described the project to commissioners:
Some residents that had complained the project would cause too much stormwater to run onto their property, may have found a solution. Gary and Karen Harris of 1801 South Princeton say they are working with the developer on a private project that would channel much of the water off their property.
