Cooking fires are the most common type of house fire in the United States. We need to have some type of fire suppression close by just in case there is a fire. Grease fires are common, and most of us have heard not to throw water onto a grease fire, but, what about using a fire extinguisher. Ottawa Fire Department Fire Safety Specialist, Cody Schraad, says because they have 100 pounds of pressure, you need to be careful:
