Friday night, July 28th, at approximately 8:44, Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 report of a shooting at the 1800 block of John Brown Road in Princeton. Upon arrival, 42 year-old Nathan Boggs of Ottawa was located with a gunshot wound. Franklin County EMS arrived on scene but Boggs died at the scene after all attempts to resuscitate him failed. The incident is being actively investigated by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Ottawa Police Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
