Admission to the Goppert Building is free today to try to help beat the heat for those still without power and/or ac.

Kansas State Bank at 236 North Main is not open for business because they still don’t have power, but you can stop by and get some free ice water. Their other two locations are open for business in South Ottawa and in Baldwin City.

Are you without power? Do you need to plug something in? Take a break from the heat? Stop by the Carnegie Cultural Center free from 9:00 this morning until 4 this afternoon. Thank you to the Franklin County United Way for making this possible.

If you need water, ac, hot coffee, a recharge on your phone, or a snack this morning at 204 South Main.
