Enrollment for the upcoming year has taken place in the USD 290 School District. Elementary students finished up Tuesday, August 1. Due to power outages, Garfield students enrolled at the Ottawa Middle School and Lincoln students at Ottawa High. Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs comments on the enrollment process:
The first day of school is approaching fast for USD 290. August 14th will be the first day for first through 6th graders as well as 9th grade and new students. It’s a half day. The first full day of class for all students will be August 15th.
