Ottawa fire crews have been busy since the storm. The problem has been with generators. Fire Chief Tim Mathias explains:
Mathias also says the Red Cross shelter at the high school was not used over night on Tuesday night, and although a few people had come in during the day to charge phones and cool off, if no one stayed overnight last night, the shelter would be closed sometime today. With the help of the Salvation Army, they were able to provide a meal to those in need last night an he says if needed it will be done again tonight.
