It’s taking a while, but power is being restored to people in Ottawa. During the regular Ottawa City Commission Meeting, City Manager, Brian Silcott reiterated the city ‘s commitment to service. He says everyone understands how challenging it has been for everyone to endure the sweltering temperatures without power:
He adds that the comfort and safety of all residents and the employees working to restore power are a concern. City officials say the power restoration is taking time due in part to the many circuits in the city.
