It seems there’s a new telephone scam everyday, and tragically many people lose money. Franklin County Sheriff, Jeff Richards, says there’s a scam tied to the start of college:
Richards say when something sounds suspicious, it’s best to hang up to avoid falling for yet another scam. Never give your personal information to anyone over the phone.
