Some people may wonder how AdventHealth Ottawa fared during a severe storm a few weeks ago…..well the answer is that hospitals plan for such things as blackouts. Chief Operating Official Doug Rich, told the Ransom Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees that the hospital was on generator power for quite a while.
Rich says the Co-Op had to travel to get a special fuel delivery because they couldn’t pump fuel themselves because of the blackout.
