An accident on Highway 59 yesterday morning, September 5th, sent a man to the hospital. Just before 7:45 yesterday morning, a vehicle driven by 17-year old Trever Martin-Harralson of Rantoul, was stopped on Highway 59 and Ellis Road, facing southbound waiting to turn. A vehicle driven by 61-year old William Foulke of Garnett, was approaching from the other direction. Martin-Harralson turned left in front of Foulkes vehicle and the two collided. As a result of the crash, Foulke was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital with suspected serious injuries. No word on his condition. Martin-Harralson was not injured. The accident is still under investigation by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
