How would you like to help out the Garnett community? The Garnett Community Foundation is inviting local and former Garnett residents to join a fundraising campaign this fall that can double private donations to benefit the Garnett area. Recently the foundation announced the group has received a Patterson Family matching grant up to $70,000. During the months of September and November, all donations made to the Garnett Community Foundation will be matched up to $70,000. All funds stay local and support projects and facilities like the Garnett Public Library, Back-2-School Supply Drive, and parks and recreation.
Their mission is to inspire charitable giving for the enhancement of the Garnett community. The vision of the foundation is to foster a thriving, inclusive community for future generations to call home.
