A possible solution may be in sight to some of the problems of people getting turned away from AdventHealth Ottawa for inability to pay or other reasons. Several weeks ago hospital officials were grilled by Franklin County Commissioners about some of the problems constituents were having. Commissioner Colt Waymire says he and other county officials have since then had another meeting with AdventHealth officials and waymire says some solutions may have been found:
Waymire says at least some of the sales tax money would go to pay for charity care for people who cannot afford it. The proposals have yet to be approved by AdventHealth upper management.
