If you couldn’t use AdventHealth Ottawa because of inability to pay or other reasons….this might be of interest. A few weeks ago AdventHealth officials showed up before the Franklin County Commission to give a report and answer questions. The result was a grilling by commissioners on some issues that constituents have brought up. Commissioner Colt Waymire says he and other county officials have held another meeting with AdventHealth Ottawa officials…..he says there may be an agreement to use some of the local sales tax money to give charity care to needy patients.
Any agreement arrived at on the local level has to be approved by higher ranking AdventHealth officials.
