The groundbreaking on the city of Osawatomie and Evergy solar array in the northland will be held on October 12th at 5:00 in the afternoon. Former Osawatomie City Manager, Mike Scanlon says the array will allow Osawatomie residents to see lower utility bills:
Evergy will own and operate the solar array, and the city will be purchasing the power directly from the site to realize the full economic and environmental benefits for its customers.
