If you have a dispute with your neighbor over a fence, who do you call? It’s not the ghostbusters, but rather the Franklin County Commission. The unusual request came up at the regular Commission Meeting. County Administrator, Derek Brown explained the situation to commissioners:
In Kansas Law, disputes between landowners over fences are referred to County Commissioners or their representatives. Brown says the findings have no legal value, so whether the fence viewing will solve the conflict remains to be seen.
