A threat was made against Ottawa Middle School yesterday, September 19th. In an email sent to patrons late yesterday afternoon, Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs and OMS Assistant Principal, Patrice Peoples say the district was made aware of a threat against the school and immediately contacted the police. Ottawa Police Chief, Adam Weingartner:
The threat was made on snapchat. The Ottawa Police Department assures everyone that the situation has been brought under control and the Ottawa Middle School will continue to be safe for all the students and staff today.
