You may have heard of high school industrial arts classes building a real house which is later sold to a homeowner. While most would agree this is a good experience in learning building skills, sometimes such projects may not be in line with certain zoning and planning guidelines. Apparently this is the case in the West Franklin School District. At the regular Franklin County Commission meeting, Zoning and Planning Director, Pat Toth, gave some background information:
Toth says he will be involved in the new house-building project all along the way to ensure that all permits and inspections are properly done.
